The New York Times reports on December 12 that Marco Rubio, whose family immigrated from Cuba a number of years ago, may be pushing for these attacks for regime change in Venezuela because the oil-rich Venezuelan government is suppling much-needed oil supplies for Cuba. If the US government succeeded in cutting off these supplies, it could result in regime change in Cuba.
It’s interesting how personal biases play a big part in the Trump government. I wonder what the average military sailer, airman, or soldier thinks about what the Trump people tell them to do.
